Back in 2015, I was given the opportunity to review the LoveArc – a new and exciting way of using suction cup toys. For many, finding a comfortable spot can be a little bit tricky, even painful sometimes.

I’ve lost count of the amount of times i’d worn out my knees, riding a dildo on the hard bathroom floor. But the LoveArc changed that. Such a simple idea, but executed wonderfully. I found a new appreciation for all of the suction cup toys that I had long forgotten about. As I begun to realise how wonderful the LoveArc was, there was a part of me that thought “Why can’t I use ALL of my dildos with this?”.

When I went to ETO for the first time that year, I had the pleasure of meeting the inventors of the LoveArc, who confessed they were indeed working on some sort of harness, allowing you to use almost ANY dildo with it. YES! That would be fabulous, I said, and went away with the hope that it would happen. Things went quiet. Very quiet. And then, last year, out of the blue, a package turned up.

Holy crap… they did it! I was suddenly feeling giddy with all the possibilities… all those dildos I had loved but couldn’t enjoy as much because they didn’t have a suction cup. I could see myself losing a  lot of time over the next few weeks, as I tried EVERY SINGLE ONE OUT. And that’s no small feat. There are a LOT of dildos in my dildo chest… that’s right. I have a CHEST full of them. It also weighs as much as a baby elephant. Probably. But I digress… there was work that needed to be done.

First Impressions

Now, I’m not 100% certain if this is the retail packaging we received, but if it is, it’s extremely simple, but effective. Just a simple cardboard box, with no imagery or any inkling of what might be inside. Just the logo on a sticker. Inside is the harness, which when you first open the box, you get a whiff of the real leather (so sorry, this harness is not vegan friendly!).

It’s a simple concept – the harness wraps around the bar of the LoveArc, and there are 3 interchangeable steel O-rings that you slip your favourite dildo inside and then away you go. These are NOT included with the harness normally, and need to be bought SEPARATELY.  The smallest of the rings has a diameter of 2 inches, the mid sized ring has a diameter of around 2.5 inches and then the largest jumps up to a maximum diameter of 3.5 inches. This is the one ring I have yet to try out, because I own NOTHING that larger. And probably won’t… but the other 2 rings have definitely seen plenty of action!

In Use

I’ve already reviewed the LoveArc, and i’m not going to waste too much time talking about how it all feels in action. If you want to know about that, you can go back and read the previous review. Here, we are just going to focus on the actual harness. It’s easy to attach to the bar, and the velcro is strong, ensuring that the harness stays firmly attached. Changing out the O-rings is simple as well, with the 2 smaller velcro straps holding your chosen dildo firmly in place.

The harness itself feels extremely well made. It’s made from thick, sturdy leather, which is smooth and shiny on the top, with a soft suede feel underneath. The LoveArc logo is imprinted into the leather for a small decorative embellishment. The rings as well are extremely sturdy with a good amount of weight to them. All in all, it does feel like a good quality product.

The first dildos that went through their paces, were the Fleshjack dildos. Easily some of my favourites, but because they lack a suction cup and have those large bases, finding ways of using them hands free is a little tricky. But here, it’s not an issue, at all. Each of the dildos I have fitted perfectly, and finally I was able to just kick back and enjoy them in a way that I hadn’t before.

It also allowed me to experience some of my Tantus dildos in a new light as well, particular things like the SAM, ALAN and DUCHESS. Whilst these all work with the Tantus Suction cup, I found that it doesn’t always hold them in a secure fashion. But finally, I could strap these to the LoveArc and know that they were securely fastened and were now much sturdier. It’s definitely a better experience this time around.

Clean-up and Maintenance

Clean up of the harness is simple – i’ve just been using a warm damp cloth to remove any excess lube that might have dripped down. The leather still appears to be in extremely good condition. The O-rings can be cleaned the same way, or you can boil them/run them through the dishwasher – however you choose really. The box it arrived in seems like a simple storage solution, so they are kept inside the original packaging.

Summary

Once again, I am riding the LoveArc around the house like a crazed rodeo cowboy – knowing that I can pretty much use any of my dildos with this thing is just a good feeling. The downside? Well, I do think that the rings should be included as part of the package, rather than making you buy it separately. But then again, I suppose that’s going to come down to what you really need. If you only own larger dildos, than the smaller O-rings are worthless. And vice versa. But when looked at as a whole, this simple harness is the perfect accessory for the already awesome LoveArc.

If you’ve been unsure about whether the LoveArc was for you, then hopefully this will be all the convincing you need. Yes, it’s an expensive outlay – the actual LoveArc is still clocking in at at over £200, with the harness adding on an extra £59 minimum (before you’ve added you required O-Rings)… BUT; the possibilities are ENDLESS and when you consider a fully fledged mechanical fucking machine comes in at DOUBLE the price, and require plugs and a sound proof room… it certainly becomes a more attractive option.
