Another week, another dildo has been diddled and I’m sat here in my sunny conservatory trying to put all of my thoughts and feelings into words. But it comes to a point where it’s difficult to write reviews because you struggle to find fault and you are conscious of publishing so many ‘good’ reviews.
And the same applies here. Tantus just make great quality products and it really is difficult to find something majorly wrong with them – every single dildo that I have tried has always left me feeling extremely happy and I guess that’s because when it comes to dildos, I’m not after extreme prostate stimulation. I just like that ‘being fucked’ feeling and all of their toys have really hit the right mark.
The Duchess is the newest addition to the dual density O2 range, but it’s not a totally new concept – it’s based off the Duke – however here, it has been reproduced using their super squishy dual density silicone, however it still has a cavity for both a suction cup and a vibrating bullet. It’s another beautiful addition to both my collection, and the whole Tantus catalogue.

First Impressions
New dildo day from Tantus is always an exciting day. Coming home from work and knowing you have a bundle of dicks waiting for you always leaves me with a warm fuzzy feeling, and when the Duchess arrived amongst my latest batch of toys, I was of course, extremely excited.

We know how Tantus package their toys, so I won’t dwell on that, instead let’s jump right in and talk about The Duchess. Standing in at a modest 7.5 inches tall, with an insertable length of 7 inches – the first thing you notice about The Duchess is the beautifully engorged head. The big, white squishy dome atop the powder blue shaft is like a big marshmallow, and clocks in at a 6 inches in circumference. The rest of the shaft is a fairly respectable 5 inches in circumference.
Comparatively speaking, the Duchess has a slender-ish shaft like the Flurry, but that tip is slightly larger than the overall circumference of the Cush. Unlike the aforementioned dildos, the Duchess is more ‘realistic’ in shape – the rounded bulbous tip features a pronounced frenulum and coronal ridge. However, the lack of veins and any other defining texture should make this an acceptable alternative to those who really don’t like the idea of flesh coloured toys.
Included in the box is a single speed basic Tantus bullet. A suction cup is NOT included in this box, however it is compatible with the suction cup which is available separately. My Duchess is in a gorgeous blue ‘Ice’ colour, but is also available in a slightly frosted pink ‘candy’ colour. So did the Duchess get the royal seal of approval? Well let’s find out.
In Use
Whilst the Duchess has a relatively slim shaft, that bulbous head was going to cause me a problem. There is no way I can start with something that wide. So I grabbed a few of my favourites from the treasure trove of dildos and planned out a warm-up routine. We would start with Alan – a recent addition to the mix, but an excellent starting point – just to get you comfortable. I switched out to the Flurry before working up to the Cush.
At this point, I was feeling a little more confident, so tossed the Cush aside, grabbed the Duchess, and decided I would stick it inside the Liberator Bonbon, so I could ride it hands free (it had done wonders with the Alan). As I lubed it up and got into position, the squishy dome of the Duchess was now working it’s way in – and even with a warm up, it still felt incredibly big, and it took a few minutes for me to relax enough to allow it all in.
When I finally managed to get it all in, I sat firmly down on the Bonbon and the Duchess filled me up. Because of the larger head, it was giving me a much fuller feeling and the tip was gently massaging the prostate. I say gently, as the shaft is completely straight, it wasn’t applying a lot of pressure, it’s only due to the size of the head, and the flexibility of the shaft, that it was even providing any p-spot stimulation at all. But to be honest, at this point, I was enjoying the slight stretch as I rode it up and down.
I decided to try it with the vibrations and I have to admit, I didn’t even both using the included bullet. It’s just not powerful enough for me, so I grabbed one of my trusty Tango’s, slipped that into the base and put it back into the Bonbon. With the Tango now sending rumbly vibrations all through the shaft, things were far more interesting. The silicone is quite thick, so not all of the rumble makes it all through the toy, but it’s still far more powerful than the included bullet, and it certainly perked things up a little.
Arching my back and thrusting my hips, the Duchess gave a full, firm ride and the vibrations added enough extra stimulation to make up for the lack of texture. I soon found myself bucking my hips and as I reached down to pleasure myself with my hands, it didn’t me long to reach orgasm. It was strong and satisfying. Just the way I like it.
Clean-up and Maintenance
Boil it, bleach it, anyway you want it. You got the power, to make it clean. Alternatively, a good spritz with an anti-bac toy cleaner and some warm water will be enough. As with all the other dual density toys from Tantus, they seem to really like my pug’s hair, so within a moments notice, they will try to grab as much of it so would strongly recommend using a storage bag. However a quick rinse before use will get rid of any unwanted dust and fluff.
Summary
Yet again, another positive review for Tantus. You are probably getting sick of them now, aren’t you? Well I’m sorry – but I honestly cannot find fault, at least not of a major variety anyway. They are always extremely friendly and helpful on social media, and the toys they produce are of such high quality – I don’t know what else you could want.
It’s big squishy head is great for that full, stretched feeling – but the slender shaft makes thrusting smooth and comfortable. It almost wish it had a little bit more texture, like the Cush – however the ability to add vibrations almost makes up for the lack of texture. Another truly top quality addition by Tantus and one that will see some more action in the future.

The Lowdown | Tantus Duchess O2 Vibrating Dildo
Pros: Dual Density, Semi-realistic, Can be used with vibrator or suction cup. Anal safe and great for those looking for a little bit of stretch but nothing too intimidating.
Cons: Included bullet is under-powered, a proper dust magnet! Suction cup is also not included so would need to be purchased separately (if you don’t have one).
Bottom Line: Beautifully sculpted, a joy to use and great for those looking for a bit of stretch. Definitely consider a Tango if you haven’t got one as the stronger vibrations provide a better sensation, despite the lack of textures here.
