MEO Stainless Steel Anal Twist Dildo

We continue our round of reviews for german retailer MEO with another awesome stainless steel piece. I’ve been aching to get some more metal into my repertoire of dildos, and MEO have really out-done themselves.

In case you can’t remember, MEO sent us a massive treasure chest of goodies and it’s taken me a while to get through everything, but we’re getting there slowly! Today, we are taking a look at the Stainless Steel Anal Twist Dildo – a piece that is incredibly simple in it’s design and function but OH MY… feels SO GOOD! So let’s get straight on with things.

First Impressions

Much like the ‘Milking Stick‘ which we reviewed earlier on in the week, the Anal Twist arrives in a sheath of bubble wrap, inside a basic plastic bag. Very understated packaging for a product that’s anything but that. This thing is a BEAST – do not let it’s size fool you.

The Twist clocks in at just under 8 inches of total length, with an insertable length of 6 inches. It features a large, rounded flat base with a ‘crank’ handle. The base features rivets which sit around the edge of the base, giving the whole thing a slight ‘industrial’ look. The shaft features a rounded, bulbous tip with some line detailing, where it then slims down through the rest of the entire shaft. The tip has a maximum circumference of 5 inches, whilst the rest of the shaft is 3.25 inches.

This thing also weighs a TONNE. OK, not quite, but this dildo clocks in at just under a KILOGRAM in weight – 977g to be exact. It has a bright, shiny finish and no distinct metallic smell.

In Use

So let’s get straight down to brass tax. Is this worth the €59 asking price? Yes. A thousand times yes. I’ve yet to experience the delights of the nJoy range – however, that’s mainly because they are priced well out of my usual price range. However, the ‘cheaper’ alternatives aren’t always the best – 9 times out of 10 they are not proper stainless steel and can therefore be harmful. However, here, I am confident that this is 100% stainless steel and is reasonably priced.

As mentioned previously, I love to use a good hybrid lube whenever I am playing anally, and thankfully, you can use absolutely any lube with steel. After coating the twist a good dose of MEO Hybrid Lube, I began insertion whilst laying on my side. The large, bulbous tip is a little bit of a challenge from a cold start, but not impossible if you are experienced. Once you are past the tip, you get that satisfying *pop* around the sphincter that I have come to love. The rest slides in really smoothly, and if you are a fan of temperature play, the coolness of the steel feels spine-tingling but in a good way.

Thanks to it’s short(ish) length, it’s really comfortable when slid all the way in, so the base rests against the perineum. And this is where you can have some real fun (and where a second pair of hands REALLY comes in handy). The ‘crank’ handle and the name ‘Twist’ should really give you an idea of how best to use this. With the tip now pressing firmly against my p-spot, you can begin to ‘twist’ the dildo inside, using the crank handle. The little ridges on the tip provide some internal (and very interesting) stimulation, and the rivets massage the perineum as it turns (best to make sure you’ve got a little bit of lube on the base as well).

The Twist is also really good for thrusting with as well – the weight behind it allows for firm stimulation of the prostate – much like how the Heavy Metal Intruder does – this feels like the smaller brother – it’s a mini p-spot battering ram. And I really like it. It takes little effort to get me to an explosive and extremely satisfying orgasm.

Clean-up and Maintenance

Stainless Steel is really easy to look after – you can sterilise it in the dishwasher or simply spritz with toy cleaner and give it a really good rinse. When it comes to storing, you can store it with any other toys without any issue. If you are concerned about it knocking into other things, then what I do is wrap them inside a sock – it keeps them nice, shiny and clean and it just provides a little extra protection from knocks and scrapes.

Summary

I can’t deny it. I absolutely LOVED this. It’s a decent length for satisfying and filling penetration. The weight provides good prostate stimulation, and when twisted using the crank handle, the rivets give an intense and satisfying external perineum massage. The only downside is that when used for an extended period, the weight can put a slight strain on the wrist – but you would seriously need to be at it for hours. With the time it takes for this to bring me towards an orgasm, it’s not really going to be an issue. But it’s worth mentioning.
