Things are getting serious… I’m definitely learning my lesson of ‘read the dimensions very carefully’ when it comes to picking your dildos. When I first laid my eyes on this dildo in the flesh, I was certain my butt hole let out a small cry.

We’re now onto our 5th review of the fine dildos by Mr Hankey’s Toys and this is definitely one for the texture lovers. As soon as I saw the bonkers texture on the Kinky Cobra – I knew I had to try it. It’s got everything that I look for in a fantasy dildo: a semi-realistic shape, lots of details and very squishy. It’s also a little larger than I normally go for; and the shape certainly makes it look (and feel) even bigger – so I was a little worried about how I was going to make it fit.

But you know me, I’ll give anything a try once. And as I soon discovered, appearances can be deceiving although (spoiler alert) I do think this one came awfully close to the limit of what my arse hole can take.

First Impressions

So the Kinky Cobra certainly looks formidable. I chose mine in the size Small/Medium but it looks like an absolute beast (by my personal standards). I chose mine in a suitably reptilian colour and opted for the 75% softness option. That really is a pro-tip when it comes to choosing larger dildos – softer silicones can make them so much more approachable when it comes to insertion. You still need to take your absolute time and use PLENTY of lubrication; but I have discovered that dildos that normally would have made my eyes water… aren’t so bad.

The Kinky Cobra has an overall length of 9.5 inches and an insertable length of 8.5 inches. The circumference around the tip is about 5.1 inches, before widening to 6.75 inches round the first bulge. This widens further to 8.25 inches towards the base. It’s very soft and squishy and the surface is covered a beautiful scale texture; and there are plenty of lines and ridges for extra sensation too.

In Use

Well, as I’m sure you can imagine – I needed a good warm up before we attempted this one. After giving myself some time to properly relax with the Captains Hook and The Scimitar, I was ready to take on the sneaky snake. Out of all the dildos we’ve tried so far, the reason this one concerned me the most was that there was a big, bulbous bulge almost immediately as you begin. There’s no time to really adjust to the expanding girth; that warm up has never been more important.

Initially it was a bit of a struggle; but I put this down to more ‘mind over matter’ – my brain had looked at it, and convinced itself that it wasn’t going to fit, and therefore it would allow me to relax enough to get the job done. Eventually, I soon reminded my brain that the softer nature of this silicone meant that actually, it’s not that bad and if we just persevere slowly; it will slide right in. And eventually, it did. It stretched my hole to the point I thought I was going to break – but then with a satisfying pop, I was in!

Despite the softer nature of the silicone, I could still feel all the delicious lines and bumps. As I tried to take it all the way in, no matter how hard I tried – I just couldn’t get past the final bulge at the bottom. It stopped feeling pleasurable and became more painful. And this is another thing that’s so important to remember and realise. Never try to push or persevere when you feel pain! You are feeling it for a reason! So I stopped trying and instead focused on the good 6 or so inches of dildo that was already in me. And you know what, it felt great! I was able to gently thrust with this dildo, and it left me feeling full, only slightly stretched but I felt satisfied.

Clean-up and Maintenance

As I always maintain, your preference for cleaning your silicone is really up to you. It’s such a good material that allows for a wide range of cleansing and sanitation options. As the dildo is slightly textured, I always recommend a good hand wash with some soap and warm water – to focus on all the nooks and crannies. Then should you so desire; you could then pop it in some boiling water or toss it in the (empty) dishwasher… the world is your oyster. Once it’s done, it can be safely tucked away with your other silicone monsters ready for the next time.

Summary

I realise now, that dildo reviews are surprisingly hard to write, especially when you don’t want to sound repetitive. The Kinky Cobra is the first of the Hankey’s Dildos I’ve yet to be able to get ‘fully’ inside of me (and spoiler alert, it won’t be the last) but what I am able to get into me – it feels like it’s stretching me to my limit but not in an uncomfortable way. That bottom know is definitely a bit too big for me but I know there will be some out there going ‘Nah, that’s a piece of cake’. The good news is, as always, for those who want theirs bigger; you can choose from another three sizes! God bless your butts and vagina’s.

The quality of the dildo is as they always are. Very well made, sturdy and produced with minimal packaging waste as well. I would love to see this in an XS size at some point (I couldn’t see one during my quick browse of the site this morning) so if it does exist already – my apologies. If it doesn’t, then as Jean-Luc would say… Make it so!
