Lovense Gush 2

Whilst I was browsing MEO to find new and interesting items to review, the Gush 2 popped up, and as I was looking at it, I kept thinking about all of the fun ways I could use it. Not just with myself, but with my other half too. This is the second masturbator we’ve tried from Lovense (the first being the Max 2) and honestly, they really have impressed me. So given it’s taken me almost a year to publish, let’s not hang around waiting; let’s dive right in!

First Impressions

The packaging is a simple little cardboard box. Inside you’ll find your Gush 2, 2 silicone adjustable straps and your charging cable. The Gush 2 is made from body-safe silicone and is waterproof for easy cleaning and aquatic play. It takes around an hour and a half to fully charge and then will give you around about 2 hours of play time.

It can be used just on its own, or you can connect it to the app for hands-free play. You can also sync it with other Lovense toys or interactive content. There are so many ways for you to enjoy the Gush 2. For the purposes of this review, I’m focusing on the solo/remote controlled aspect of the toy as that’s what appeals to us most.

In Use

Solo Play

The Gush 2 features a basic wing shape with textured ribbing on the inside. The wings ‘expand’ to accommodate almost any size. It features an oscillating plate that lines up with the frenulum to deliver up to 4300 oscillations per minute. If you have ever used anything like the PULSE, you’ll be fairly familiar with the sensation. This is a more compact, and dare I say, more elegant take on that particular type of toy. There is one single button to operate which takes you through standard speeds and patterns. For my own personal used, based on how I hold the toy – the button lined up perfectly with my finger allowing for easy control.

So slipped it on is very easy; you can use it with a little bit of lube and used it like a stroker – the ribbed texture inside offering a little bit of enhanced stimulation. And sure, that does feel pretty nice. But for me, it’s just being able to lay there and just let the Gush 2 do its thing. My penis is very responsive to vibrations and as expected, it delivered a satisfactory orgasm within minutes. The 2 adjustable straps allow you to strap it on and either create a tighter experience for stroking OR just have it strap the Gush 2 you, leaving your hands free to explore and do other things.

But it’s no big deal; I don’t think it’s going to be going into storage any time soon.. wink wink.

Summary

It’s not ground-breaking. It’s a concept we’ve seen done before; but it’s well made, effective at what it does and there are lots of things you can do with it to really expand its capabilities. It’s decently powerful and the vibrations are rumbly and strong. The way the wings wrap around, really helps ensure those vibrations can be felt everywhere. And any toy that can get me from soft to raging orgasm in under 5 minutes is an absolute winner for me.
