It’s really exciting when I can recommend a product that’s powerful, safe, and above all – affordable. You don’t have to spend ‘luxury’ amounts of money to get a decent and enjoyable toy.

Last year, I reviewed a dildo by Blush Novelties that I immediately fell in love with. When I went to ETO last year, Blush were exhibiting, and I got to see a few of the new products they were working on, and amongst them was the Real Nude Impressions line of vibrators. I was impressed by the demo models, and had vowed to review them, when the opportunity presented itself.

When I reached out to SheVibe, I knew that I had to grab at least one of the toys, and they very kindly sent me the Nude Impressions 02 vibrator. It ticked so many of my boxes – silicone, waterproof, suction cup, rechargeable… would it live up to my already high expectations?

First Impressions

The Nude Impressions line is packaged fairly minimally – in clear plastic boxes allowing you to see the vibrator nestled inside. There is a cardboard box that holds a storage bag, USB charging cable, a US wall plug and a mini instruction pamphlet. The 02 features a curved, hour-glass sort of shape, featuring a rounded tip, with a series of ridges giving it a mild phallic shape. The body of the toy slims down in the middle before widening right towards the bottom.

The 02 has a suction cup, making it suitable for both hands free play and can be used with a harness. It stands at a modest 6 inches tall, with a maximum circumference of 4.25 inches around the tip, and 5 inches towards the base. It takes approximately 1.5 hours to fully charge, and this will give you 40 minutes of play time. There are 5 different settings – 3 speeds and 2 patterns.

In Use

So before I get onto how the 02 feels, I just want to address one issue. When you open up the little ‘quick start’ pamphlet, inside you are greeted by the following phrase:

“Congratulations on your ownership of this quality product designed by women for women….”

Let me just say… NO. I really wish companies would understand that sex toys do not need to be gender specific. It’s great that it’s designed by women. Excellent. But as a Cis male, I too happen to enjoy dildos and vibrators. And I know many more who do too. Take note, Blush…

Anyway, now that’s out of the way, we can get down to the fun stuff. First of all, can I just say WOW. When I turned this on, I was not expecting the amount of power the 02 can deliver. The vibrations are insanely powerful, and quite rumbly. They aren’t the rumbliest – there is a slight amount of buzz, particularly on the higher speed, but to be honest, I can almost forgive it here. The vibrations resonate throughout the entire shaft, but are felt most prominently at the tip, and for me, that’s where it counts.

The 02 is incredibly easy to insert, at least, for someone who is more experienced with anal play. The suction cup also really helps as well – just slap it against a trusty surface and have at it. I decided to dig out the LoveArc so I could use this in the comfy confines of the bedroom. The suction cup is surprisingly strong. It took a significant amount of force to shift it – which is good – there is nothing worse than building up a good rhythm and then having it ruined by a loose suction cup.

I was concerned about the buttons, however. If I stop myself before I reach the buttons, the tip of the toy is just missing my prostate. Throwing caution to the wind, I fully inserted and that extra inch allowed the tip of the toy to come into contact with my p-spot. Of course, this isn’t ideal as it means I can’t easily change the speed/pattern in use – but considering there are so few here, I can just pick the one I like the most (which is basically the highest constant speed) and just ride it.

And it really is a wild ride. The rounded tip and ridges massage my internal spots with almost criminal ease, and the addition of the rather powerful vibrations just has me weak at the knees. I was rock hard within minutes, and a quick tug took me over the edge into orgasmic bliss. And it’s the same with each use. One thing that was AWESOME, was slapping the 02 down on the edge my desk, and then sitting on it. The suction cups strength, combined with it’s flexibility meant I could roll my hips, and almost grind it like a gear stick. Just… YES. ALL THE YES.

I still couldn’t believe that something as small and cheap as the 02 could actually be… well, good. It’s not perfect, but it’s not terrible either.

Clean-up and Maintenance

The 02 (like the rest of the Nude Impressions line) is completely waterproof, and coated in silky smooth silicone – so clean-up is as easy as spritzing with toy cleaner and rinsing thoroughly. You can also bleach it in a 10% solution if you wish. But do avoid boiling/putting in the dishwasher. Blush supply you with a little storage bag as well, so you can help keep that smooth silicone as dust/lint free as possible between uses.

As I did mention earlier, the buttons are located on the shaft, and if like me, you find you need to take in the full length in order to hit the spots, pay close attention to the buttons when cleaning. There is a small crevice around the buttons, which can catch lube and other bodily fluids – if you are concerned, you can always cover it in a condom before use.

Summary

The Real Nude Impressions line is something that you don’t see very much off. Dangerous Lilly said it much better than I probably could – it really is like, the jack-of-all-trades. It’s a dildo, it’s a vibrator, it’s got a suction cup, is harness compatible, can be used vaginally, anally and for external stimulation (yes, I think those vibrations in the tip are strong enough for clitoral stimulation and my frenulum certainly seemed to enjoy them too!).

AND it’s cheap! Like, under $50. And this is such a big deal when you take into account that it’s also completely body safe and has a 5 year manufacturer warranty as well. That’s pretty sweet, if you ask me. It has certainly made me want to check out the rest of the Nude Impressions line as well.
