Here at TBGR, we’re always on the look out for toys that give you a good bang for your buck. It’s getting expensive out there, and I want to be able to find options for fun, orgasmic toys that aren’t going to cost you an arm and a leg.

This is why I agreed to work with BestVibe; who focus on selling unbranded ‘white label’ items; these are products that a retailer could purchase and slap their own branding on it. I have absolutely no problem with folks that do this; in fact I’m pretty certain even big sex toy brands use white label services to increase their portfolio of products. As long as the product is safe and decent; does it really matter what’s on the box? Now we’ve worked with BestVibe before and our experience with products has been a bit of a mixed bag … but should that deter me from trying more? No!

And that’s why we were happy to look at some more products; to see if we can find you something decent at an affordable price and this time; I think we might be on to something. It’s been a while since we’ve reviewed something like this Remote Controlled Vibrating Prostate Massager; but I get loads of emails asking me for more affordable options. So let’s see what we can do with this one.

First Impressions

As with most white label toys, the packaging for this particular Remote Controlled Vibrating Prostate Massager is pretty non-descript and doesn’t really reflect the product inside. And that’s not necessarily a bad thing. From the front, it kind of looks like either a small box of chocolates; or maybe a fancy perfume? Only the back would begin to suggest as to what the true contents are. Inside the box you get the massager, a usb charging cable and a little remote control. The toy is made from smooth body safe silicone, along with the remote.

There are 3 different speeds and 4 patterns, for a total of 7 different functions. The remote seems to be automatically paired with the massager; but I am unsure as to what ‘powers’ the remote – there’s no visible battery compartment so not sure what you would do if the remote stops working; however the toy can be operated from the button on the base. The massager has an insertable length of 3.75 inches, and a circumference of 4 inches at it’s widest; making it suitable for those less experienced.

In Use

The shaft of the massager has a fairly rounded tip that does taper to a sort of point, whilst the rest of the shaft is your standard prostate massager shape. The body sort of curves forward slightly before thinning out towards the base. There is a flexible ‘nub’ that is designed to rest under the testicles and against the perineum to offer a little bit of external stimulation. In terms of size; it’s pretty standard and is something that I can insert with very little preparation (just a good lashing of lube) and it slides in with ease.

Once the toy is inserted, it’s pretty comfortable; and the flexible next means I can move around and it moves with me. This is particular good as I often like to sit and rock with the massager inside, so as I do that; the external nodule moves with me. The remote has a good size finger loop; I’ve got pretty sausage-y fingers, and yet I can wear this on my finger easily to offer the easiest of controls during use. It also seems to have pretty decent range as well, and was pretty responsive. However I cannot see how the remote is powered, or what I would do if I need to change it? The manual included shows a different type of remote that is powered by a AAA battery; this remote is definitely too small for that and doesn’t have a visible point where I can see how to get into it.

Remote aside, the massager can be operated via the button on the base; simply pressing the button will cycle you through the 3 continuous speeds and the 4 alternating patterns. There is a single motor in the massager, meaning all of the main vibrations are focused mainly internally, whilst the external stimulation is a little more subtle. The 3 speeds are… OK! They are not the best I’ve felt in a prostate massager like this but they weren’t exactly awful. They are a little more on the buzzier side, and I definitely prefer a good ‘rumble!’ but I was pleasantly surprised at their strength.

As I sat on the edge of the bed, I switched the massager to it’s full speed, and I just gently rocked back and forth. The vibrations weren’t exactly rocking my prostate in the way that some of the more high-end rumbly vibrators do; however it still felt really nice and it didn’t take me too long to be fully rock-hard and aching to drop a load.

Clean-up and Maintenance

Once you have finished your session, you can rinse the massager with warm soapy water before carefully drying with a lint free cloth. The remote; well I didn’t want to take a chance so I just wiped with this a damp cloth to remove any lube (as you know, that stuff gets *everywhere*). There’s no storage bag included; but as it is silicone, it can be stored safely with other silicone products.

When the massager needs charging; it should take around 2 hours to fully charge and that seems to get us a decent hour of play time.

Summary

Look, it’s not revolutionary; it’s a pretty standard prostate toy but you know what? That’s fine! The whole point is to try and find you folks products that feel good and don’t cost the earth and I think this little massager does a decent job. So if you are looking for a first time massager and don’t want to break the bank – then this little option could be good for you. I think if you are a seasoned prostate player; then the slightly higher pitched vibrations may leave you wanting more (which they did me).

But it’s cheap, body safe and decently quiet. The remote control is comfortable and works incredibly well so I can see couple utilising this in all sorts of ways. My only quibble is that the buttons on the remote are very difficult to see/find in low light situations. If I was to suggest improvements; it would be a dual motor for the massager (those external vibrations are just a little too subtle for my personal taste) and make the remote ‘light up’ so you can see the damn buttons. But for £35; its not the end of the world.
