There are a LOT of masturbators out there. Hundreds. Thousands. Millions. And for the most part, they all do pretty much the same thing and it can get a little boring. But then every now and again, something comes along that just blows your mind (and your load) and today’s product did just that.
The good folks over at MEO have been incredible supporters of the blog for almost as long as we’ve been running (next month, we do celebrate 10 years of TBGR!) and when I was browsing their site for some new items to review; I stumbled upon the AK Super Series S1 Masturbation Cup. It looked like a hair dryer. But something was telling me I needed to give this a try. I couldn’t find out a lot of information on the brand/manufacturer, AK, so my initial assumption was that this was some sort of white label deal. With that in mind, I lowered my expectations a little (well, ok, a lot) – because my experiences with white labelled masturbators have been a bit hit and miss over the years.
But when this one arrived, I just had a really good feeling I was about to enjoy something special. And now I have given this thing a THOROUGH testing, I can safely say this is now one of my all time favourite masturbators. It’s not perfect (and I will get into that in a bit) but honestly; could not believe how bloody good this stroker is. So let’s not waste any more time and dive in.

First Impressions
Straight away, the packaging does feel a little more luxurious than a standard white label product. There’s a sort of tenga-esque vibe about it. As you open the box, the product is protected with a foam insert and you will find the Super Series S1, a manual and a USB charging cable. The design of the toy is somehow both futuristic and retro at the same time. It’s also got a bit of weight to it, clocking in at a hefty 920g. It features a rechargeable battery; which takes around 3 hours to fully charge and offers 1 hour of playtime.
The stroker features a ‘thrusting’ action, offers vibrations and even features a heating element. The sleeve of the cup is removable for cleaning and has the vibration features built into the sleeve itself. It’s made of a soft, stretchy TPE and features an array of bumps and nodules for sensation. The way this product is designed and put together is certainly unique and I’ve not seen or experienced anything like it since I’ve been blogging. I couldn’t wait to try this out, so as soon as it was unboxed, it went straight upstairs for its first charge as I twitched with anticipation.
In Use
My first experience with the Super Series S1 was over incredibly quickly. I had barely had a chance to test out all of the features before it was draining me. I naturally put it down to it being a while since I’d had an orgasm so I cleaned up, waited a few hours and went back in again. You will need to generously coat the inside of the sleeve with a good amount of water-based lubricant. It’s a little bit of a snug fit – but it wasn’t uncomfortable. At least not for me. I consider myself on the cusp of being into ‘above average’ girth – and we still managed OK. I would wager someone who’s in the 6.5 inch and above circumference might have a little bit of a struggle – however did experiment with some of the chunkier dildos I own – and it did seem to be OK. However as a rule of thumb; I would say that if you find TENGA or Fleshlights too tight; you will not get on with this one.
I got myself comfortable and lubed up, and slide myself into the chamber. Despite its unwieldy appearance; it’s actually quite comfortable to hold whilst still maintaining good access to the buttons. It’s relatively straight forward to operate. You press the main power button to turn it on; this will kick off the thrusting motions. Subsequent presses will vary the sort of ‘motion’ it goes through. There are 2 buttons to increase/decrease the speed of the thrusting. Vibrations are turned on and controlled by their own single button and then lastly there is the button to turn on the heating element. I have to say, I’m not sure if I’m really getting anything from the heating element – I can’t say I’ve ever felt the sleeve warming up. But this could be down to the fact the S1 has me coming before I’ve given it a chance.
The way this device thrusts is perfect. The sleeve is built in a way where it’s rigid towards the bottom end of the sleeve; and then there’s a little section that’s really soft and squishy. The sleeve attaches magnetically to the thrusting mechanism. It’s quite clever really. The sleeve grips me quite snugly and then as it begins to thrust… oh my. The sensation is surprisingly intense and it really doesn’t take much effort to bring me to the brink of orgasm. Every session has been over in a mere minutes. I think the longest I got out of it was 6 minutes.
The vibrations are definitely its weakest point. They really aren’t that strong at all; and usually that would be a proper down point for me. However, I don’t know – whenever I had had the vibrations on – it does seem to bring me to the edge quicker than when I don’t have the vibrations on. They’re subtle but combined with the intense nature of the thrusting; it really does seem to work.
Clean-up and Maintenance
The Super Series S1 is not completely waterproof; the main body of the unit should not be rinsed under water. A gentle clean with a soft damp cloth is all that is required. The main sleeve is removable and can be washed under the tap; however I will say cleaning is probably the hardest part as you can’t turn the sleeve inside out. It’s stuck on its plastic frame; so getting your fingers in to properly flush everything out is tricky. Not impossible, but more difficult than it should be. However a good rinse through seems to be working and I’ve not encountered any issues. I let it air dry and then just give it a light dusting of powder before I pop the sleeve back in.
Summary
The Super Series S1 surprised me. I cannot believe it has the audacity to be as good as it is. I’m so used to these white label style masturbators to leave me feeling high and dry… but not only did this one deliver, it delivered it super fast and in style. It’s design is initially confusing but I think that adds to it’s charm – and potentially helps it blend in as honestly; if this was left out on someones bed or side… I’d think ‘Oh wow, that’s a cool looking cordless hair dryer…’ OK, I might be reaching here.
If you like your orgasms to be lazy or you really enjoy the intense sensations of a thrusting masturbator – then I honestly think you will get HOURS of pleasure from this. My only issues are the vibrations are just a bit ‘meh’ and cleaning it can be a bit of a nuisance. But given this thing has had my knees trembling for a couple of weeks now, I’m almost prepared to overlook its flaws.

The Lowdown | AK Super Series S1 Masturbation Cup
Pros: A thrusting machine! Lots of variety when it comes to stroking, decent texture and sensation. Disassembles for cleaning.
Cons: A bit difficult to clean, vibrations a little ‘meh’ and it can be quite noisy!
Bottom Line: Despite its flaws, this thing has had me clutching at the sheets and I definitely couldn’t part with it. Noisy but oh so much fun!
