Satisfyer Air Pump Booty 5+

Well this is a first for us; I don’t think we’ve ever reviewed an inflatable product before; it’s always nice to try new things (especially when you’ve been blogging about and reviewing sex toys for over 9 years…).

Satisfyer is a brand I don’t really have much experience with; I think we’ve reviewed one product from their range before (the annoyingly named Satisfyer Men Wand); however it was a decent experience and I was eager to try out some of their other offerings. When I was perusing SheVibe to find somethings to review; a couple of vibrators caught my eye; one of them being the hilariously named Air Pump Booty 5+.  Immediately, I know I had to try it. And it was pink. A sickening shade of baby pink.

Thankfully, the lovely folks at SheVibe were kind enough to send this over, along with another Satisfyer vibrator (review to follow soon) and as soon as it arrived, I was eager to see what this little pink monstrosity could do. And lo and behold; it can do a surprising amount. So let’s take the plunge and plunder my booty! Hold on tight!

First Impressions

As far as packaging goes, I love it! It’s very bright and colourful and FUN! It’s always important to remember that sex should always be fun and the APB (as I will refer to it hence forth) is packaged beautifully! There is a tamperproof strip that ‘locks’ the vibrator in place so you can maintain peace of mind that your product has not been tampered with prior to it arriving on your doorstep. Once you’ve torn the strip away, you can then free your APB from its plastic bed. Underneath the little cradle is your instruction manual and a magnetic USB recharging cable.

The vibrator itself is made from smooth silicone, and to be fair the pink colour doesn’t look as bad in real life. It’s quite pastel and pretty. The APB has 5 constant speeds and what feels like 8 patterns. The main feature, is of course the inflatable shaft. At the press of a button, the tip of the APB inflates like a balloon; I guess the goal is to apply some more intense pressure or to leave you feeling a little more ‘full’. Either way, once I saw how large it inflated; I was a little nervous. But we do these things in the name of science! I’m sure it was going to be fine… It takes about 4.5 hours to charge for a 60 minute runtime.

In Use

You can operate the APB using it’s on-board controls (however I already knew this was going to be tricky once it was inserted). Luckily, there is an Satisfyer Connect app that will allow you to connect to your APB and you can control it via your phone. Pairing the APB with my iPhone was a quick and painless process and the connection was steady and strong. Now I was all set-up and ready to go, it was time to put it to the test.

I got myself comfortable and applied a liberal coating of lube. The APB has an insertable length of about 4 inches, and the tip is quite bulbous with an initial circumference of 4.5 inches around the top. This narrows down to about 3 inches at the base. As the tip is not the most tapered, initial insertion took me a few moments (I’m a little out of practice!) but once we were in, it was very comfortable. There is an ever so slight curve in the shaft which hopefully would ensure some decent prostate stimulation.

For the first few moments, I lay on my back and grabbed my phone to begin the vibrations. As it sprung into life, the lowest setting offered a pleasant tickle. Moving up to the highest speed; the sensation naturally got more intensive, but it wasn’t like ‘knock my socks off’. The vibrations are decently powerful and they do have a nice rumble to them. They just aren’t the most intensive I’ve experienced in a device like this. Things like the Back Door Rabbit have them beaten on power. That’s not to say that it didn’t feel good because it does feel nice! It’s just those who crave more power might find this one just a little lacklustre.

I’m Blown’ Up (I Want the World To Know…)

For me, things changed once I inflated the shaft. Now unfortunately, on the app, you have to jump to a completely different screen in order to operate the pump. This can take you ‘out of the moment’ a little. There is a little hole on the back of the handle that you just need to ensure is clear before you begin inflation. I took a deep breath and began. I could hear the little APB doing it’s thing and initially I didn’t really feel anything. And then suddenly, I felt a lot more pressure against my prostate. The tip goes from around a 4.5 inch circumference to about 6 inches!

Whilst I couldn’t necessarily make out any discernible sensation whilst it was inflating; I could certainly feel it’s result! As I lay there, clenching my pelvic floor muscles and contracting around the shaft of the APB, there was now a much firmer pressure rubbing against my fun spot; and even though the vibrations weren’t the strongest – it was still having a positive effect on me.

I was clenching and stroking; and I tell you what – I wasn’t even at full mast before I had a wonderfully explosive orgasm. Oh it’s been a while since I’ve felt that, and it was bloody marvellous!

Clean-up and Maintenance

The Satisfyer Air Pump Booty 5+ is completely waterproof; so can be rinsed and cleaned with soap and water in the sink. However, it’s important to ensure that you do not activate the inflation whilst the APB is submerged. This can draw water inside the device and thus make it unsafe for us. So a little extra care is recommended whilst cleaning; and sadly – no bath time or shower time fun! It’s such a shame however that there is no cute little storage bag; but hey ho! I guess I can just continue to store it in it’s nice little box…

Summary

I am pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this! Whilst the vibrations left me a little underwhelmed at the beginning; once you inflated the shaft, it was a whole different ball game for me. It certainly seemed intimidating on first impressions; but once it was inside, I didn’t really notice or feel the inflation until it started banging on my P-Spot.

I’d love to see a new version that offers stronger speed, maybe even a bit more inflation? I also wonder if a heating element could work inside this as well (I know Satisfyer do have heat-enabled vibrations; one of which we will have a review for you very soon). But generally, I think this is a cute little anal vibrator that offered me something I didn’t think I needed, but now very much want to explore in more detail. Kudos to you, Satisfyer. You have my attention.
