ONI by Mr Hankey’s Toys

Well I appreciate that this is another dildo review… I promise I have some other things in the works – I have reached out to my regular sources for more product – so we should see some variation soon! I promise! But I appreciate you for still showing up and it is good just to be back in the blogging seat again. 

We have now tested out 8 dildos from Mr Hankey’s; and today’s review will be the 9th – I can safely say that I have been thoroughly impressed with the overall quality of these dildos. Not only do they have a vast catalogue of shapes and designs; they also have sizes available for almost every taste. When choosing items to review this time, I was very careful and decided to order out of the XS range; and I came across the ONI. With a gorgeous curve and what looked like a delectable texture, I hastily scoured the measurements to make sure I wasn’t biting off more than I could chew.

And thankfully, I wasn’t – the smallest size seemed to be just at the top end of what I can comfortably enjoy. Visually, it kind of reminded me of the Scimitar (which I also tried in a small) but that one was a little too large for me to fully enjoy. So I was hopeful that this would be a better fit. There was only going to be one way to find out…

First Impressions

We’ve covered the minimal packaging before, so I won’t bore you with that minor detail – let’s get straight onto the nitty gritty – the specs! So I chose my ONI in silver and in a medium firm thickness. This is always my recommendation when ordering something that’s very textured OR potentially larger than you are used too; as the softer silicone can make it a little easier to enjoy. Not always, but most of the time. There can be a little trade off in terms of how easy they can be to use hands-free but I’ve not encountered too many issues with this myself.

The ONI stands at a respectable 9.1 inches tall and has an insertable length of 7.1 inches. There is a beautifully tapered tip that has a circumference of 4 inches before widening to 5.5 inches towards the middle. The base enlarges to 5.9 inches, which is almost an inch narrower than the aforementioned Scimitar – this further boosted my expectation that this was about to become the superior ride. There is a solid 2 inch thick base; and I opted to not have the Vac-U-Hole put on this one, however you could if you so wish. The texture is gorgeous; curves and bumps and ripples – and there is a detailed Oni mask located about a third of the way down the shaft. Although from the side, the tip of the dildo does give me ‘Xenomorph’ vibes.

In Use

As this is on the larger end of what I enjoy at the moment; I do still like to do a little warm up with other toys. My current go-to’s are still the Captain’s Hook or more recently, the BFG. These both do a wonderful job of getting me relaxed and erm, open… ready to take on something that’s a little bit more challenging. Once I’m ready to go, the ONI slips in with ease, thanks to that delightfully tapered tip. The softer nature of the silicone allows things to glide in comfortably; but I can still feel the ridges and bumps as they pass through my sphincter. Every now and again, there’s a little sort of ‘pop’ as I move further down the shaft.

I also purposely chose this one for the curve in the shaft. There’s a decent curve in this one; much more pronounced than on the Dildos & Dragons; this is the kind of curve that makes me drip. I can slide the ONI all the way in, and it softly massages my prostate – making my stomach flutter and my knees tremble just ever so slightly. The almost 6inch girth at the base stretches me to a point that feels challenging but not painful. I definitely feel full, and also confident that I wouldn’t want to be stretched any more.

Whilst I loved the Scimitar, my main issues was the size and texture did make it a little more awkward for me to thrust with. That’s not so much the case here. Whilst there is still a lot of texture here, it’s perhaps not quite as pronounced; allowing me to fully thrust and take it with a little more gusto than I could before. That solid base allows me to just thrust, thrust and thrust again and it hits the spot every time. This could be my second favourite from everything we have tried so far…

Clean-up and Maintenance

I feel like a broken record when it comes to writing this section; but I always have to remind myself that this review could be the first time someone has come across my work so.. you know, it’s better to be safe than sorry. And that’s always a good mantra when it comes to cleaning your sex toys. Silicone is one of the best materials because it can be cleaned and sanitised in many different ways, based on your own personal preference.

The easiest is to simply wash with warm, soapy water. You can use antibacterial toy spray if you so wish. A good rinse and then allow to dry before storing away. However, you could also boil them in a pot on the stove, stick em in the top rack of your dishwasher (sans detergent)… the choice is yours. Just bear in mind that dildos with the slightly more interesting textures like this, need a little extra attention when cleaning as there are all sorts of nooks and crannies that fluids can get into!

Summary

So whilst I can’t go out on a limb and say this is my favourite dildo from the Mr Hankey’s Collection; it’s definitely in the top 2. It’s got a great girth and length that offers me the satisfactory filling without the pain and discomfort. The texture is beautiful and the curve is the icing on the cake. It really hits all of my spots and does exactly what I want. What more can you ask for?

For those who are also clitorally inclined; I dare say the ONI could be a lot of fun – as not only is there that beautiful texture, there is a little bump towards the base of the shaft that I would wager probably tickles the clit marvellously. I can imagine pairing that with a little bullet vibrator to really get the sparks flying. If anyone can confirm, please get in touch and let me know!
