One thing I don’t have enough of in my arsenal of toys, is metal. Sure, I have a couple of metal butt plugs, but nothing that makes me want to scream and shout from the roof tops.
Then one day, the folks over at Bondara dropped me an email and asked if there was anything i’d like to review for them. So I had a browse and my eyes fell upon a glistening, silver sceptre of pleasure. And the name… the Heavy Metal Intruder… it sounded like it meant business. When the package was delivered, I was unfortunately at work, and when I went to pick it up from the post office, I was completely caught unaware of how HEAVY the box actually was. Blimey… So I raced home to have a bloody good look.
First Impressions
The Intruder doesn’t come in any packaging, so to speak – it was simply encased in a bubble wrap sheath. As I removed it from it’s plastic scabbard I couldn’t help but utter a gasp. The thing is HUGE. It looks like a weapon. A weapon of ass destruction (I’m sorry, I just had to slip that in… wahey!).
Holy cow! Now that’s what I call a dildo! This beast weighs a tonne!!! Thanks @Bondara!! Can’t wait to give it a go! pic.twitter.com/4lJCumHWbS

So let’s grab some vital stats… The Intruder clocks in at 13 inches in length in total, with an insertable length of 9.5 inches. The tip of the toy has a circumference of 5 inches around it’s widest point, whilst the rest of the shaft is a modest 4 inches. But this is not for the feint-hearted. Oh no. The intruder weighs approximately 2kg. Yes, you heard that right. This really is a heavy duty piece of pleasure.
It is supposed to be made from Stainless Steel and so far, I haven’t been able to prove it wrong. I’ve scratched it to see if it’s coated. It passed. It weighs A LOT… but it’s only £40? I can’t get my head round it, but i’m not going to argue. I’m still trying to conduct other experiments… but so far, it seems legit.
The Intruder has a slight curve in the shaft – it’s not completely noticeable the first time you look at it, but it is definitely there. I have to admit, I was completely intimidated by this dildo when I first held it in my hands – but I figured that if it doesn’t work out as a dildo, I can keep it down the side of my bed as a self-defence weapon.
In Use
So how does it fare in use? Well I spent a little time warming myself up first, which didn’t take too long. I grabbed the Intruder, slathered it in loads of Silicone lube (which I personally prefer to use when using glass or metal) and slowly began to insert. Thanks to it’s rather modest size, I was able to insert it surprisingly easy. The coldness of the steel sent a shiver down my spine, but it actually felt nice – it wasn’t an unpleasant tingle.
Despite not being massively curved, the large, bulbous tip found my prostate with ease. I got maybe a good 6 inches of the dildo in, but no matter how hard I tried, I still couldn’t take it any deeper. I’m still working on that, but this is not a fault of the toy – this is me still exploring. The weight was both a blessing, and a curse.
As I lay on my back, thrusting with the Intruder, it exerted huge amounts of pressure inside, and it really worked over my prostate, so much so it was like I was feeling it in my stomach. There were all sorts of odd sensations fluttering all around my lower half. I didn’t even have to thrust all that forcefully. In fact, at one point I just let go of the Intruder and just thrust my hips – the weight kept it in place and I was able to stimulate myself hands free. It was AWESOME.
Being the slightly adventurous type, I got myself on my stomach, and lay there, with the Intruder just standing up like a proud mast of a ship. The size and weight kept it in exactly where it should be, but now it was supporting itself, it exerted maybe a little more pressure on the prostate, and after a while, when I got up to change position again, i’d left a wet patch on the blanket where I had gotten thoroughly aroused.
Throwing myself back on my back, I began thrusting with wild abandon and before I knew it, my entire body convulsed and I orgasmed with such force – it was strong, satisfying and lasted a good few minutes. My entire body became hyper sensitive and I lay there gasping for air.
Well this is no ordinary dildo… It’s a prostate battering ram! #breathless pic.twitter.com/aIaZzkUjHY — The Big Gay Review (@thebiggayreview) October 15, 2015
I would definitely count this as a success.
Clean-up and Maintenance
Steel toys are really easy to clean and look after. You can use soap and water (just ensure the soap doesn’t contain any chlorine) and it can be boiled (place a small cloth/towel in the pot to stop it from ratting around and making noise) or sanitised in the dishwasher (just check your machine has a sanitise setting and DO NOT use detergent as this is abrasive).
You can safely store it with other steel toys, silicone and glass etc without any issue. It thankfully doesn’t attract dust or pug hair, so you don’t need to worry about a storage bag.
Summary
There has to be a catch? I mean, they can’t really be selling a stainless steel dildo of this size and calibre for only £39.99?? I mean, nJoy toys, which are also stainless steel, retail at almost three times the price… I’ve not encountered anything that would make me think otherwise – and when compared to things like the Metal Worx range (which, as it turns out, is NOT pure stainless steel) there is a significant difference in finish, in weight etc.
At this point, I am still prepared to throughly recommend this, especially if you are on a budget. The smooth shaft is incredibly comfortable and makes insertion easy. The rounded tip really works on the prostate, and with the added weight, it’s so much more pleasurable. That said, the weight can be a bit much after a vigorous session, and if you have weaker hands/wrists, then this might be too much – even I found my wrist ached after a good session. But for the orgasms it delivered? Totally worth it.

The Lowdown | The Heavy Metal Intruder Dildo
Pros: Long shaft, great for deep anal play (if your into it) otherwise it’s a good weighty dildo that’ll really work the prostate over.
Cons: It weighs 2KG so after a vigorous session, wrists can feel a little strained!
Bottom Line: If you are looking for a seriously heavy duty dildo on a budget, you can’t go wrong with this.
