One of the most common messages I get, is suggestions for beginner-friendly butt toys; most often it’s a good beginners butt plug. And to be honest, for a while I’ve not really had much that I could offer as a recommendation; because I hadn’t really tried anything that I would suggest as being great for a newbie.

Which is why when I saw the Satisfyer Intensity Rechargeable Butt Plug; I had to give it a try. It’s reasonably affordable; and looked to be the perfect size for beginners. So I asked SheVibe very kindly if I could review it for them, and they agreed. First Impressions

As per my last review for SheVibe; the item was sent without the original packaging; so I can’t talk much on that; all I received was the plug, the manual and the charging cable. The plug is quite interesting it it’s design; it sort of looks like a heeled boot (once you see it, you can’t unseen it). It’s made from gorgeous silky smooth silicone and is waterproof for easy clean-up and/or aquatic play time. It has a singular button on the base of the toy that allows you to operate the different levels of vibration. You can also connect it to your smart device with their dedicated Satisfyer Connect App; allowing for even more intricate control over your device.

The toy comes in at around 3.5 inches of insertable length and has a circumference of 3.5 inches at its widest point. The shaft has more of an oval shape than round; and tapers very softly to the ‘bar’ style base at the bottom – designed to nestle snuggly and comfortable between your cheeks. The toy is USB rechargeable and takes around about 2 hours to fully charge. This will give on average around 45 minutes of play time. From what I could figure out, using just the button on the base; you have access to 5 levels of power and then I counted 8 different patterns. These can all be adjusted via the app for greater control.

In Use

I have to say, from the get go – I was quite impressed with how powerful this cute, tiny little plug was. You don’t expect something of this calibre to have any decent rumble but to my surprise – it packs a punch! Now it’s not the most powerful anal toy I’ve tried; but for what this is – it has more than enough power to satisfy my needs. For someone like me, I don’t always want to feel stretched or full – I just enjoy a nice little tickle around my hole – and the Satisfyer Intensity Plug delivers what I need.

Insertion is quick and simple; barely need to warm up – but for beginners, I still think that the size here is manageable with just a good amount of lube and a slow and steady approach. The shaft isn’t overly wide; so there isn’t quite the nice satisfying ‘pop’ you get with some plugs – but I also understand for some people; that feeling can be a bit disconcerting (I love it, but I appreciate it’s not for everyone). The base fits ever so comfortable; that it allows me to move around with the plug inserted and apart from the vibrations; I could almost forget it was there.

This makes it a great toy for some fun couples play; it’s small and discreet enough that I would probably feel comfortable letting my partner take control whilst we’re out and about. It’s pretty quiet, so I think in a loud public environment, no-one would have any idea what’s going on. And even in a quiet, silent house – I could not hear it buzzing or rumbling through the walls or doors. The vibrations are strong and whilst the do begin to err into the buzzy spectrum on it’s highest levels – it still feels quite deep and extremely pleasant. Every wank with it was a delight.

Clean-up and Maintenance

As the Satisfyer Intensity Plug is waterproof, clean-up is an absolute breeze. A good rinse with some warm soapy water, a spritz of antibacterial toy cleaner… dealers choice. The silicone is a little but of a dust magnet; so if you have a spare storage bag – it’s worth using; else you may want to just give it a quick rinse before your next use.

Summary

Sometimes, reviews can be really difficult to write. And then there are times when they just write themselves. This is one of those latter moments. I am happy to report that if you are a butt play virgin and looking to add a vibrating plug into your repertoire – this is an excellent choice. The size is perfectly manageable and the vibrations can be gentle or driven up to something more powerful. It sits snugly and comfortably. This allow you to sit, stand, lie-down, walk-around – whatever – without anything rubbing.

The app control function also allows you to indulge in hands-free play, fully customise your experience and to create some incredibly fun intimate moments with a partner. Throw in a blindfold and some restraints and just let your imagination run wild.
