Over the past few months, my appreciation and admiration for Fleshlight/Fleshjack has been re-ignited. Sure they may be big, bulky and a massive pain-in-the-ass to clean – but with the right care, these babies will last you a long time and you know what? They feel freakin’ amazing too.

I really liked the ‘Flight‘ – mainly because it was smaller and much easier to hold and use. So when I saw the ‘Sex In A Can’ range – I just knew I had to give these a try. Now we tried the ‘Count Cockula‘ a few weeks back, and I absolutely loved it, despite it’s slightly creepy aesthetic. The ‘Cherry Pop’ is just simply an ass-in-a-can. No ifs or but(t)s about it. So how did score? Well read on to find out…

First Impressions

When the toy arrives, it comes in a clear sealed plastic tube. Inside, you get a lube sachet and a leaflet detailing other products – fairly basic arrangement. The unit itself is designed to look like an over-sized can of fizzy pop – I’m not sure whether they are trying to play to some sort of ‘discreet’ factor – but it’s not working. Not that there is an issue with that but come on, let’s just call a spade a spade and be done with it…

The label round the outside is very tongue in cheek – offering ‘nutritional’ and serving information. It doesn’t really bring or add anything – and again, it certainly doesn’t help provide any additional discreetness (1 Calorie Per Stroker / 1 Orgasm Serving size etc) – but I still thought it was amusing, if perhaps a little on the ‘tacky’ side. But hey, who am I to judge? It’s what’s inside that counts, right?

As you take off the cap, you are greeted by a ‘realistic’ looking tight ass sleeve with some nice little details around the entrance (little skin wrinkles etc). The case is around 8 inches (21cm) tall and the internal sleeve has a penetrative length of around 6.5 inches (16cm). The texture inside is a mini version of the ‘Squeeze’ texture which is basically a ribbed tunnel which gives way to a wavy shaft. In this particular toy, the texture is tighter and shorter (hence the name ‘Cherry Pop’).

Because this is smaller than your typical fleshlight, if you are blessed in the trouser department (6.5 inches and above) may want to avoid, unless the idea of thrusting against the plastic base is a turn on. Of course, you can just unscrew the cap at the bottom, but you do of course lose the suction.

In Use

When you are ready to have a little bit of fun, simply lube up the sleeve (and yourself) using a good quality WATER-BASED lube (I’m currently using Give Lube) – other lubes could potentially damage the sleeve. When entering a Fleshlight/Fleshjack sleep for the first time, I find it helps to unscrew the cap first and then once you are inside, you can then adjust the suction to your liking.

As you slip inside the sleeve, the ribbed entrance caresses your shaft as you plunge deeper. Once you get passed that, you are then being teased and pleased by the undulating canal. Unfortunately, for me, this is where I have to admit that I wasn’t really feeling anything ‘spectacular’ in terms of textural sensation. However, the tightness of the sleeve was where this was scoring the points. Even though I couldn’t really identify the texture – the sleeve clung to my shaft so tightly that it didn’t take very long for me to reach orgasm.

The first time I played with this, I used it straight out of the box. For a more ‘realistic’ approach, I let the sleeve sit in some warm water for approximately 20 minutes, before putting back in the case and giving it another go. The added warmth now added an additional sense of realism that once again, ensured it didn’t take me too long to reach orgasm.

Just a small tip – if you still want to increase the ‘tightness’ a little more – a couple of strategically placed elastic bands around the sleeve certainly helps ‘spice’ things up a little bit. I did try, and I ‘just’ about fit – so if you are girthier than 6 inches, then I wouldn’t recommend it – besides, I think it’s tight enough as it is, without being too uncomfortable.

Clean-up and Maintenance

As with all the Fleshlights/Fleshjacks – in order to get the best (and most) out of them, you do need to take serious care of them. When you are finished, make sure you give it a thorough rinse with water and anti-bacterial toy cleaner (both inside and out). At this point, I find it easier to get a lint free cloth, and try to pull it through the canal to help remove excess moisture (as it’s notoriously difficult to dry in there). Then you can leave the outside to air dry before you then use a good dusting of renewal powder to bring it back to it’s soft silky texture. It’s always a good idea to give the case a wipe over as well.

Summary

Well I’m not going to say I was totally blown away with this sleeve – the texture is quite simple, and personally, I just don’t really feel the difference between the ribbed part at the beginning, and the wavy part throughout the rest of the sleeve. However, what this does have going for it is a nice tight sleeve which does grip your penis really nicely, and it did give me some satisfying orgasms – more so when the sleeve was warmed up – it felt more realistic and more pleasurable.

Overall, it’s tongue-in-cheek packaging is a bit of a giggle, and it’s so much easier to hold and use than the regular units – and because it’s so much lighter, I can be a bit more ‘vigorous’ and I’m less likely to strain my wrist  – which is always a bonus 😉
