Cast your mind back 12 months. Sex positive website Kinkly had been running their annual Sex Blogging Superheroes contest. I had only been working on the blog for about 6 months at the time, so imagine my absolute delight when we made #94 on the list.

Cut to 2015 and we’ve reached that time again. This time, Kinkly were doing things a little bit differently. Not only are they going to be creating their Top 100 as they usually do, they decided this year to include 5 new categories – Top New Sex Blogs, Top Erotica Blogs, Top Sex Toy Review Blogs, Top Sex Blogs For/By Men and Kinkly Readers Choice Blog.

I had no idea the results were coming out today, so imagine my surprise when I randomly check my phone on a break at work and see several twitter notifications offering me a hearty congratulations. At this point, I really had no clue what they were talking about. However, it all soon became clear.

So how did we fare this year? Well…

We made not one, not two but THREE of the lists.

We came at….

*drum roll please*

NO.11 in the TOP 100!!!!

I was literally speechless at that. We jumped from #94 to #11 – just missing out on the top 10. But you know what, I really can’t be mad at that, at all. But it gets better.

We came in at #2 on the ‘Top Sex Toy Review Blogs 2015’.

I really had to let that sink in for a bit, especially when I see the other AMAZING, INCREDIBLE and TALENTED bloggers who also made the list. I’m right underneath freakin’ HEY EPIPHORA. That, in itself, I think is a worthy achievement. To all of my fellow bloggers in that list, you are all an inspiration and it is an absolute privilege and honour to be featured in a list with you guys.

But that’s not even the best part. I’ve been saving the BEST until last (because that’s how it should be done, right?).

We came in at…

#1 in Top Sex Blog For/By Men

I am just so humbled/shocked/surprised… and I owe a lot of this to you guys – the readers.

When I started the blog back in 2014, I just wanted a place to talk about sex, share some saucy stories and give my opinions on the sex toys I enjoy and love, in the hopes that I can pass on some shred of wisdom, inspiration or just entertain you with my inane ramblings. I never thought, in a million years, that we’d reach a level like this. So to you – whether you’ve simply visited the blog, or shared an article, left a comment, followed us on Twitter/Tumbler and retweeted/reblogged/shared anything….

Because without you, i’m just a man with a weird LUSH/Pug/LEGO obsession…

You guys make this all worthwhile and I hope I can continue to educate/inspire for the next 12 months and beyond.
