Dual Density. I’ve lusted after these dildos for ages – the ultimate in realism, they claim. I’ve finally got my hands on a legendary Tantus O2 toy and I couldn’t wait to give it a thorough work out.
The second (and final) review for today, and for sextoys.co.uk – and it’s a beast! I’ve only just started moving up to the ‘big’ toys, and even then, what I would class as ‘big’, to some, would just be considered small-fry. However, whilst this is not the biggest dildo I now have in my possession, it’s a very close second – and unlike the largest, this has a pretty consistent size and shape all the way through, making it appear MUCH larger than it is.
I was particularly excited about receiving this as it’s one of Tantus O2 silicone dildos – basically, it’s DUAL DENSITY. Two words that sound like pure poetry. My first dual density experience was with the ‘Suko‘ and I was completely blown away by that. But the dual density silicone at Tantus was almost legendary – how would it compare? For the sake of science, I put my ass on the line and took a deep, deep breath…..
First Impressions
The ‘Luke’ arrives in a see-through plastic box with some of the ‘older’ Tantus branding on it. Inside, the dildo sits inside a plastic clamshell, ensuring it all arrives safely and in one piece. My eyes nearly popped out of my head when I wrestled it free from it’s packaging. Not only does it ‘look’ enormous – but it’s really quite heavy as well! I love it when a dildo feels all… solid. I was really getting quite eager to give it a go right there and then…
The Luke comes in at a respectable 6 inches of insertable length and a butt-stretching 6 inches in circumference. The tip is just a fraction thinner, at 5.5 inches – but change is so small, that to the naked eye, it all looks one width. This is a thick, solid silicone sausage, ready to plunder my insides and make me sweat. Ah, the life of a sex toy tester….
Anyway, I digress. The texture of the Luke is what was really interesting me. There are 2 layers of silicone in this toy – a softer, squishier outer layer, designed to mimic the feel of skin, and then a much denser, firmer core – the idea being that it’s supposed to feel like a real cock – with the muscle and bone. OK, i’m not going to lie, it doesn’t feel ‘real’ – but at the same time, it doesn’t feel completely fake. However, compared to the Suko, the outer layer is not as squishy, and it’s still quite a firm dildo.
In Use
So, I’m just going to put that out there right now – this monster took my breath away. It also took a LOT of warming up, but it was completely worth it. The good thing about the Luke, compared to Hank – the base is much wider, firmer and heavier – meaning that even though it didn’t have a suction cup, it was much easier to use if I wanted to try and go ‘hands free’. Still wasn’t perfect, but it was less frustrating.
So, bearing in mind that this is (by my standards) quite a large dildo, a bit of preparation was needed before I could tackle it properly. Beginning with a session with my Leo, followed by Brent, followed by Mick – only then was I able to take on all 6 thick inches of Luke.
With another good dose of lube, I slowly began to insert. The tip, like the Hank, is of a different texture – it’s smoother and shinier than the shaft, so the initial insertion was easy. Almost immediately, I could feel it stretching me, and that sensation continued all the way down the shaft. I had to take it much slower (even though the Mick has a wider girth, it’s not all the way down). After what seemed like an eternity, the large, squishy pronounced balls at the base finally came into contact with my perineum, like 2 fluffy cushions, coming to my aid. Now it was completely inside, my eyes were watering just a little bit and I was feeling a little breathless.
I had to give myself a good 15 minutes where I just sat there completely still, before I could even begin to ride or thrust with it. But when I did… holy shit. My hole was feeling stretched, but inside I was feeling incredible – I was full and I liked it. Again, like the Hank, the rounded head was playing with and teasing my p-spot, and my toes were curling in delight.
As everything started to go hazy, I knew it wasn’t going to take much to bring me to orgasm – and I was right. Before long, I was laying in a crumpled heap. All of my problems with the Hank had been made better by Luke. He knew what I wanted, and just got on with it, no questions asked. Despite my initial reservations about it’s size, It was actually more comfortable than I thought it would be. However, that said, unlike something smaller, when thrusting, I needed to keep it at a much slower, softer pace – too much speed, and I found that it actually became painful, rather than pleasurable. So when I want a long, drawn out fuck session with a dildo, Luke is who I will be grabbing.
Clean-up and Maintenance
As covered in all Silicone dildo reviews – bleach it, boil it, dishwasher it, wash it in the sink with toy cleaner… it’s all good – it’s all 100% platinum grade silicone – completely non-porous and totally safe. Just be aware it attracts dust, so unless you keep it in it’s original packaging, or store it in a bag – it will get dusty and will just need a little rinse before use.
Summary
I’ll keep this short and sweet. It’s big, it’s dual density and it left me feeling stuffed like a christmas turkey. I love it. I only wish that the outer layer of silicone was just a teensy bit ‘squishier’. That said, I know Tantus have several dual density toys – so maybe one of those will provide the squish I crave the most?
For real, if you like your dildos on the shorter, chunkier side – this is definitely a worthy investment.
